We are sulking as nobody is interested in commenting on our dogblog…..woof. We don’t feel very important dogs, even though everybody comments on our campervan cooking program….come on ya’ll, send us a message grrrrr woof!!!!
So like we not going to harp on that subject anymore….down to business. Life in Cintsa is oh sooooo laid back, you knooooow. Connie and Thomas left to further their travels, the powder puffs have gone on holiday for a few weeks wooooooooof, so me and Gyps are now the kingpins around here. What have we been up to, weeeeell, actually we have been having such fun chasing those horrible flea infested vervets that seem to like visiting our site, mornings and evenings. One day, grrrr, one day, we’ll catch ya. Our JR friend Whiskey (nooo not Dallas Janet), has also been very useful….he runs like the wind, backlegs kicking sideways as he tears down the driveway chasing the vervets, guffaw, so funny to watch. Me n Gyps decided to let him have some fun too grrrrr woof.
We had a few trips into East London, as Dad and Mum tried to source food for us specials bullies…our friend Jenn seemed to be having a problem getting our BARF from PE, so we ended up trying out a new butcher in Amatola – a German butcher nogal, Carls German Butchery. Etienne who now owns the butchery gave us such a wonderful amount of beef and pork, very tasty. Mum makes her own veggies and grates in some really tasty fruit.
We also had a visit to a pizza joint in Crossways, but got left in the car, grrrr can you just believe it. Dad decided he wanted to get romantic with Mom and as we have a habit of sort of getting ‘in the way’, we got left behind in the car….
Our friends Fudge and Dash, who starred along with us in our episode called Ecclectic Beef, are well, although now and again Fudge gets really fed up with Dash and gives him a kick…….guffaw……..its funny to watch, but Dash is rather scared of Fudge, think I would be too.
Me n Gypsey got sick, had to visit a vet in Beacon Bay….oh boy….we weren’t popular by any means. The vet gave Dad a bill of close on R3000 for two visits……shew…..he was the most expensive vet we have visited in a long time…..woof woof….now we know why he drives a really swanky car. Anyways, we are both on the mend, except Mum has half starved me the past few days….cause I got doggie gastro.
We had an awesome walk on the beach with our new friends Zilla, Mandy and KD, who incidentally are moving to our pad at the beginning of March 2013. That means Gyps and me get to play with KD more often. KD is a young boy. Mandy has asked us to teach him some tricks, like stay, sit, come, down. So me and Gyps get to strut our stuff.
Its our brother Nick’s birthday today 27 Feb, but we don’t get to even give him a lick or a slobber as he and his family are all the way in Australia. I heard Dad talking to Mum just the other day….looks like they booking next year to visit, and us……well we get to stay with our sister Jossie. We haven’t seen Jossie for 9 months. It will be nice to have our family together again, even if it is for a short time, before she goes off again. Who knows, maybe we will be campervaning in Aus in the near future woof, woof.
Oh yes, before I forget, Dad has been going through to East London alot lately, we even got to go with him one day. We saw him get into this huge monster vehicle. Apparently Mum told us that Dad has to get his Code 10 license to drive our van. His exam is on the 8 March 2013, just before Gran arrives..hopefully we get to celebrate with him and Mom too when he passes…who knows, we might just be in line for a really tasty bone.
We still enjoying our daily walks on the beach, but we are kept on lead now as when we go at 7am, a lot of the local workers walk our way and you know me and Gyps love chasing workers woof, grrrrrr. But, further down the beach, if we behave, we are allowed off lead and then Gyps and I get to run and play. Gyps can be a bit of a ‘prima donna’ though. She knows I don’t like the water, so when she has had enough of me bullying her, she goes hop, skip and jump into the water. She then entices me to join her, but hey, hehehehehe, my name is Quince, not prima donna…water is not for me, nope.
So folk, that is about all for now….will be back soon. Dont forget to check out our campervan cooking every week…..yummy stuff, and we get to taste it too. Woof, woof.
It was another lazy Saturday afternoon in Cintsa. Tina was indulging in a siesta so I decided to take the dogs for a leisurely beach walk. One of the most appealing things about Cintsa is the pristine sandy beach that follows the curve of the bay for miles. Tina and I had noticed an astonishing […]
Okay, can’t have the two bullies sulking! Love the latest catch up. They really do deserve a few more comments – very entertaining.
Love their Aunty norm xx
Hi Norms, thanks so much for your feedback and am glad you like the dogblog. Nobody but you has commented on it, so a big thanks. We are all fine here in Cintsa, enjoying life. Mom arrives this afternoon, so I have just finished spring cleaning the van and making supper as I’m sure she will be hungry and tired when she arrives. Hope the family are all well. Must skype soon. xxx
