Gee Folks so sorry about the long delay….we sort of went into FLOP mode as nobody ever comments on our blog… well that is… except our Aunty Norma in New Zealand… ‘thanks Aunty Norm’.
What have we been up to since the end of Feb, grrr woof… well now that would be telling, so you’ll have to read our blog and find out.
First of all the 27 February was our brother Nick’s birthday… ‘Happy Birthday Nick, lots of slobbery kisses from me and Gyps’. Nick is in Australia with our sister Tanaelle and our cousins Lakai and Luella. We miss them sooooooo (whine).
Anyways, back to now… just to fill you in… Gyps got a bad infection again on her face so Dad used our laser from CoMra Therapy which always works wonders and teehee grr woof, puts us to sleep afterwards (sigh!!!). Gyps loves having laser treatment. She always gets jealous if Dad and Mom use it, without her turn being had. Then, can you just believe it… I also got sick… must have been something I picked up on the beach woof woof! Dad and Mom thought I had billiary, but it turned out to be a chronic form of gastro… yuk… rations for the next few days but YAY, I also got to use the laser… woof woof.
The first week of March was lazy time, not many long walks as Dad and Mom were getting ready for Gran to arrive from Jo’burg. She was staying with us for 8 days, we had to be on our best behavior and nogal… we had to share our bed space with her.
Mom hadn’t been feeling very well lately and had been very tired. She often didn’t accompany us and Dad on our walks… we were getting a little worried about her. She was using her laser daily to help stimulate her body into healing, definitely helped, but she wasn’t her usual happy self. She wouldn’t listen to Dad when he told her to rest… she always feel it necessary to clean, clean and clean. Woof, I know me and Gyps make the most mess, but we try hard not to (whine). Now with Gran arriving, everything had to be hunky dorey in Mom’s eyes. Eventually though she did go to the Doc and he diagnosed divaticulitis…. jeepers creepers you are asking… what’s that…. well that is what you get when you don’t eat properly like Mom didn’t, then to crown it all, she got tick bite fever… oh boy… poor Mom, two in one. But, she is now recovered and happy again woof woof, so that makes us happy woof, woof.
Gran arrived and before we knew it, her holiday was over and we were packing up the campervan for the next leg of our journey…..Coffee Bay……woof, woof, what a strange name for a place…..do they drink lots of coffee there? Well, we were going to find out quickly enough. We were sad to leave Cintsa as we had made so many new friends. Ralph, Whiskey, Dash and Fudge, the cows, the horses, the goats, the sheep and of course we were leaving our dear friends Mandy, Zill and KD behind… whine… whine… whine… BUT like with most adventures, all good things come to an end and a new one begins WOOF.
It was another lazy Saturday afternoon in Cintsa. Tina was indulging in a siesta so I decided to take the dogs for a leisurely beach walk. One of the most appealing things about Cintsa is the pristine sandy beach that follows the curve of the bay for miles. Tina and I had noticed an astonishing […]
