Stonehurst Bullies latest litter

And so……since the last time I got down to write, much has happened.   Gypsey and Quince produced a beautiful litter of 5 puppies (2 girls and 3 boys).  Mom lovingly nutured them, after a very traumatic first week or so, after her caeser.  She wasn’t quite sure whether these 5 little objects were actually hers, seeing she never experienced the whole birth, like you are supposed to do in the wild.  After careful coercing and cajoling, she eventually got the message and a for a way.   Our bundles bought much joy and much work, with sadness we bid them ‘farewell’  on Thursday the 16 August 2012, when they happily went to their ‘new forever homes’.   Life is now pretty much back to normal so once again our energy and focus can be on the build of our campervan and our pending trip.

Once the chassis had arrived in the country and delivery had been made to Vista Homes in Somerset West, John and I went to take a peek.  While I was there, chatting to Sue, from Vista Homes, we got on to the topic of material samples and colours, curtain colours and wood laminate colours.  Bearing in mind we will have the dogs with us, I needed to be selective and clever with the choice of fabric.  I wanted something warm, bold but that didn’t show the dirt and hair which we are bound to accumulate on our journey.  So armed with my ideas, I settled down to contemplate and decide. Will let you know once the choice is made :).

We are off to see our campervan this Friday the 17th August 2012.   Although nothing has been firmly fitted yet, most of the cupboards and interior has been mouled and put together in the workshop.  This viewing will be to decide if we are happy with the placing of everything inside and perhaps to modify the bed a little….decision will follow.

And so time moves on…till next time

Cintsa Beach Walk

It was another lazy Saturday afternoon in Cintsa. Tina was indulging in a siesta so I decided to take the dogs for a leisurely beach walk. One of the most appealing things about Cintsa is the pristine sandy beach that follows the curve of the bay for miles. Tina and I had noticed an astonishing […]
